Guys, Im half way through replacing the oil pan on my 2.8 104 (W124)...

Know all about raising the engine, etc. But I've unbolted the pan - but i can't get it lose where it mates up to the bell housing.... It looks like its got grey sealer around it... any suggestions? Tried the hammer and block of wood...

Driving me nuts!!
