I guess the bottoms of the tubes can blow out under excessive pressure causing less oil pressure at idle. The symptoms are tappet noise, of which I do not have (yet). I also attribute some of the problem to the 10w30 Mobil 1 I'm running. I tried to find 10w40 or 15w40 Mobil 1, but all I could find was the 10w40 extended wear oil.
