Sadly, yes it is. I have practiced on a few at the local Pic N Pull and find the most difficult part of removing the blower motor are the handful of clips that surround the coffin the motor is in. Unclipping them is so so. Resnapping them back on can be cumbersome.
The most troublesome was the large clip that actually holds the motor in place. Has a small hole at the tip. Best to fashion a hook tool and tug on the clip that way.
