In pic #3 there is a green with yellow stripe hard line, do you have a coupe?
Is there more than one yellow 2 into 1 check valve, like the one that is disconnected?

remotemark, on testing a vac pump, hook up a gauge, such as a Mity Vac to your main line coming from the pump, plugging off the other nipple, you should get around 25 Hg's, I think.
