In the other thread someone said to use a slide hammer. Also mentioned a special tool to remover the pin. I used a bolt that screwed into the threads of the pin. I had a nut that the thread ID was larger than the head of the pin. Then a nut that matched the threads on the bolt. Turning in the nut with the thread same as the bolt and the nut with the ID bigger than the head of the pin, between it and the engine block, the pin will come out.
