My lovely wife took our 1997 SL500 out for a ride yesterday ( her first time ). She turned the driver side view mirror so far to the right ( via the control knob ) that it literally popped out of whatever holds it into the caseing. The only thing keep[ing it from falling to the ground are two wires. Is there a simple way that someone can put down in writing which will allow me to reset the mirror. Thanks for your time.
