I am about to swap my 1996 jeep for a 1986 Mercedes 300E, The owner of the 300E said that it would start for a few mins and then dies and wont start for a few mins to hours, he thinks the fuel pump is out, but i think its the filter, also i going to do a compression check just to be safe. for more info see the link:

I am doing this is because its hard to sell and SUV with crazy gas price, as for the jeep it runs and drives but has a slight damage on the front panels and front passanger door is slightly damaged and as for the bumber is barely hanging on with missing some bolts, he is willing to take the trade all i have to do is accept his trade. So what do you think, is this a good trade i am about to do????
