What kind of oil did you use? Does the ticking continue at all times or does it stop after the car warms up?
Mine would tick for about ten minutes and then quit. After switching from rotella to mobil one it stopped. Thinking it was cleaned out I switched back to rotella and it immediately started ticking again. Back to mobil one and it stopped.
