I liked the Satsfied pro ceramic brake pads. Great life and no dust (also very quiet). In fact, I have a leftover BRAND NEW front set from my old 1999 ML430 still in my garage (box and all). If they will fit, I would be happy to part with them VERY cheap, as they do not work on my new ride (2007 ML 350). Bought them and then ended up trading in the truck before I needed to change them.

Oh and on the rotors, it depends on what pads you have on there in terms of how long they last. With ceramic pads you can do front rotor changes every other pad change, but may need to do them everytime with stockers. No need to have them turned if they are above the minimum spec and do not vibrate.
