Just a car, and it is your car....so......do as you wish.
The cars I fix do not leave without being correct.
While you can justify an improperly operating NSS that YOU installed as being No Big Deal, my bet is if you had a TECH do the same job and the install of the switch had the same results , you would be jumping up and down to Beat the Band with complaints of the repair.
Regardless, my point to the reader is to install the sw correctly from the start..that's all. I watched all your post back when when you made a project out of yours and was quite surprised to see you have such a problem with such a simple repair...
But if you can live with your NSS Sweet Spot , go for it til that day comes...
...and it will come.
My concern is not your car..... it is the people who care to know how/why of a proper install.
