What about Bush, McCain and just about everyone else? They were all against drilling until it became politically inconvenient. At least the dems stuck to their principles a bit longer. Americans are getting brainwashed just like they were brainwashed with Iraq. I bet if most people took the time to look at the Energy Dept.'s report on offshore oil drilling, specially how it's going to lead to insignificant changes in the price of oil 20-30 years later, this would stop being such an important issue.
