I have a fleece lined Carhartt that I have had a few years, and it can be warm. Carhartt has also came out with a soft shell line of jackets that look like they are very warm, I think those go for around $120. I have a North Face soft shell I bought last winter, and it kept me warm as long as I had a sweater on underneath, and these were on days in the single digits. I just picked up another high end soft shell at a thrift store, and it looks like it will be warm as well.
