well this is an old thread. i myself have a 1983 merc 500 SEC. it was imported from germany when the cars were first introduced; right in the january 1983 timeframe. i myself am the third owner, it was bought from a mechanic who loved it well. it's in very good condition, though it does have its quirks, as a car of its age no doubt should. while i have no plans to sell the car, but am curious as to its possible 2008 resale value. any thoughts?
