Does anyone know if a soft top from a R107 can be made to fit a 113 230/250/280 SL?

Most of the R107 soft top frame members are adjustable.

Can the frame from a R107 be adjusted to fit the earlier SL? Then use a 230/250/280 SL canvas on a R107 frame?

A stretch, (no pun intended) but can it work?
