Mine thunks when it goes into reverse so I may be facing a similar problem later. I looked up these threads:

To summarize problem the adjusting bolt is hard to get at and it appears most of them are purposely sheared off at the factory with special bolts for that purpose and whats left of the bolt may be held in with Thread Sealant.
