I'm not sure what the crank pilot bearing hole is?

Are any of the electronics different?

Would I need to modify the 85 to get it to work in my 84?

Thanks!

The Pilot Bearing is located in the center of the rear Crank Shaft hub and depending on the vehicle is a plane thick Bronze Bushing with a hole in the center or a Shell Type Needle bearing.
The very front tip of the Transmission Input Shaft goes inside of and is supported by this bearing.
