My SLS hose failed when driving from the take out of the San Juan river at Clay Hills crossing while pulling a trailer filled with rafting gear. There are LOTS of steep dry washes to drive thru on that road where the car had climbed the hill and was pulling the trailer up the steep climb. I figured this was putting lots of pressure on the SLS because the whole load of the trailer was essentially pulling down on the back bumper. I think it was the last straw for an aging hose.
