The pump should run even with 10 volts though, right? I checked the multimeter on the battery and had right around 12 volts before testing the pump. The battery is getting worn down from trying to start the car.

If the pump needs 12 - 13 volts to kick on, perghaps I should try a different battery or hook my charger directly to the pump to see if it will come on. Can anyone confirm that 10 volts would kick a good fuel pump on?
