Well, I can't tell you all just how much I appreciate this forum and your help. Yesterday, the trunk lock...Today, the reverse band. Ahhh...what a great feeling. Thanks 911, for the pics. I dug deeper in the search system and found out as much as I could, and all I can say is You Were Right. I read one thread where a guy was told by a mechanic that it would cost $2,800 to rebuild his tranny without the mechanic even looking at it! This is almost as good as a steak dinner with sex for desert. Boy, do I feel mellow. I'm grinning. Can you sense it? THanks, everyone. I love you guys. (In a plutonic way)
