You can check my earlier thread concerning my 260e auxiliary fans.

I had two brand new erzatz thermostats. Both were no good. Low operating temps and very high overtemps.

The Behr unit fixed this problem.

Arthur gives excellent advice here.

The two etrzatz models didn't fit exactly in the housing and the supplied gaskets were wrong. Wrong circulation.
