I just purchased a second hand passenger side mirror for my 1987 300SDL. The mirror came from a 1988 560SE and it physicall fits but its connector is 4 pin while mine is 5 pin. I now 2 pins go to the heater. Does anybody know if it's possible to rewire to make it work. Is it possible to take the mirror out of the housing.
