Not your run of the mill problem, but one that I had on my 1963 190D with A/C. The crank shaft bolt and the cast steel pulley sheared off when the a/c kicked in. The engine did not have the horses to maintain a decent idle whent he a/c turned on and shook like crazy. Ffinally failed on fatigue. I had to take the crankshaft out because the bolt was anealed into the crank. I had it drilled out and then tapped in a large allen head bolt. It worked until I sold the car. I assume you have ordered a new crank bolt from the dealer and you can then get the tap size from the bolt. Let me know how it goes.
