i went to a tires plus with my moms 06 lincoln mark lt truck. i didnt want to do an oil change and tire rotation on my back in the fla heat when i was visiting. the truck is my moms and it has 24k on it.

the specialist said it needed rotors, pads, and tires. i said the tires are fine with the 24k. turn the rotors and change the pads.(the pads were pretty crappy, stupid mom driving).

i get half way back to the parents house, and the pads fell off the caliper.- got towed to the dealer got breaks done there, now i needed rotors from the pads taking huge chunks out. had the dealer fix it, and send tires plus the bill.

i am still waiting on better buisness to handle the claim.

moral- never go to chain tire stores. theyre all salesmen.
