I never Heard of this on my 500E. Make sure the door panel was never removed for any reason. So do you have a pedigree on this purchase. sometimes. Things come loose behind door panel.
Make sure door sill plate is snapped into place. The door panels sometimes rattle. Especially where the door pocket meets the door panel. The clips break off after a while. If alot fo things were in the door pocket. pushing against it. You could always remove the door panel. Do a visual insepction make sure the door speaker mount scres did not come loose. If all is said and done. Do like we do in the dealership. Apply felt strips to the inner part of the door panel.
