MB makes you buy the whole assembly. I went to a mountain climbing store and found black elastic that looked really close. Took it apart and put in the new, can't even tell it's not stock.

I'm glad someone else is going to do this. I thought I was the only MB freak. Next you need to pull the instrument cluster and paint the needles orange again, now that's a job!
