I did the fuel filter last about 3,000 miles ago, so it's very new. I was thinking that it might be something with the fuel delivery, but since it always runs fine at full throttle, it can't be starving for fuel constantly. And since the problem is linked to load, I'm of the mind that something with the CIS controls has gone haywire. What is the difference between CIS enrichment at part throttle and full?
I should also mention that the car has been exhibiting similar symptoms very occasionally over the past six months. Maybe once every two weeks over that time frame it would bog down for 10 seconds then revive. In the middle of a 1,500 mile road trip three weeks ago it went from once in a while to constant. If you're going up a hill the car needs to be going full throttle, otherwise you can't give it enough gas to maintain speed. I did try to listen for ping, and there is none.
