I just put my new thermostat along with the housing in and that seems to have stopped the leaks around that location....

Over the next few days I got a coolant light on (angry).

And there seems to be large puddles emerging near the oil pan gasket (I have a coolant and transmission fluid) puddle next to each other. I know my oil pan gasket is leaking so thats fair game -- but I've never had coolant down there.

Could my new thermostat have increased the pressure somewhere and caused somewhere else to start leaking or is this just coincidence?
