Leave manifolds bolted to the head. Remove as big of pieces as you can (alt, brackets, ect) Be careful with your wiring harness. Mark,mark,mark everything and anything!! I get plastic lunch baggies and a roll of masking tape to segregate each area of bolts and fasteners. Mark ALL plugs and write down where they go. I also marked ALL vacuum lines ect. The EXTRA time you take on disassembly makes a world of difference on reassembly. I did our '94 2 years ago. ALOT of stuff comes off
