When you say differential ratio, does that refer to the gears in the third member, I think one is the ring and another is the pinion. j Is that right?

Also when you say the te has a higher numerical number does that mean it is geared lower than the 300 E. Or in other words the TE would run at a higher rpm to go the same speed as the 300 E. Or is it the other way around?
