Yes, You just need to manipulate two levers instead of one, seems they had it right the first time tho. Its just a minor point I spoz, they are both better than most, I shouldn't grumble 
I do admire your courage for digging into that project. I had one hell of a time ONLY replacing that fan control switch so I hope to never have to get in there again
