Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately, that computer finally "crashed" this morning. It was getting to where it would "freeze" up and I would have to turn it off... then it would take 5-10 tries to get it to power back up. This morning it finally gave up and I never got it back on. I could hear the blower working, but it would not power up. I tried it again when I got home and it finally acted like it wanted to come on, but the monitor was dimly illuminated and the blower was whirring faster than normal.

So.... I went out this evening and spent $1100 on a brand new computer. When I left here I had planned on buying around a $600-$700 system, but of course the salesman at Best Buy talked me into this one. So, my $700 planned purchase ended up being $905- then he wanted to sell me $300 more in "protective services", but I declined.

I got most of the data off of my old system, but there is still some stuff on there I want. I guess I will try to get it back on again and see if I can be successful one more time getting it on.
