I think the 1990 torque is up only 6 ft lbs, 194? versus 188 on the 103. The 90 to 92s have a reputation for hesitating off the line, but then the additional horsepower (217 versus 177?) shows up at higher RPMs. They seem to be more prone to value troubles than the later 3.2s and they also have the EZL / ignition control problem. The EZLs are irrepairable, cost about $2,500 from the dealer and seem to be in short supply on the used market. Try a search for 104 EZL or 300CE EZL. But if it's a nice car and you like the way it drives go for it.
