I just looked at my Expansion valve and all i can see is a short peice of copper wire attached to it. Is it not supposed to have a bulb attached to the expansion valve leeding to the exit line of the evaporator? I have a feeling that my A/C could blow colder and im wondering if new expansion valves come without bulbs attached to them and weather im supposed to attach one or not. How would P1 pressure otherwise be regulated with other connections such as electronic or bulbs.
