I'm talking about the Metal bulb that sits at the end of a copper string which usually attaches to the Evaporator outlet and opens the expansion valve acting against the spring pressure and gas pressure. My, EXT (expansion valve) is new and i don't see it attached to anything. Is it just preset to act as an orifice or should it be attached and regulate the output to the low side ie, evaporator?
