Okay, sorry to dig this post out of the grave........ Yeah, we do that up here in Wisconsin.
Anyway, less than a month after this post I was up in Madison (Aklim's stomping ground) making sales calls. I stop at one store and met with the manager in which I proceeded to pitch our product to her.
When she learned we are out of Lake Geneva, WI. she was amazed. She said, "Oh, yeah, that's where the Playboy Club is..."
I'm thinking, "Oh S%!#... Not again!"
She said, "I used to work there in my 20's, It was a great place and I had lots of fun."
I said, "Uh,,, Yeah! But now it's called Grand Geneva."
I then explained to her my story of the "other lady" because she could see I was shocked. She confirmed with me that the original Playboy Club was nothing like the Playboy Mansion and continued to tell me stories about all the great fun she had working there.
In fact, she had so much fun talking with me that she took on my product! (Along with 6 other stores in the Madison area that day.
)
Business has been doing GREAT ever since crazy lady. We even had GNC "CALL US" to discuss taking on our line. I'm really liking this business. Sure beats selling copiers.
