The car is a 1994 C280 with 100,000 miles.

I can smell gasoline when the car is shut off. The smell is coming from the area between the back of the intake manifold and the oil filter. I can also smell it coming through the driver's front wheel well when I stick my nose in there. There is no fuel smell when the car is running, just after it has been shut off.

Any ideas?
