nick: i didn't want to scare you but i just had a similar problem two week ago. while the blower stopped working, it was the relay switches that was defective. cost of the part was CDN$460 and change, plus $200 labor, plus GST/PST. these are not dealership cost but my own MB mechanic. good luck!!
