oil sender?

I have inspected as much of the block as I can visibly access with a mirror from all angles. I have removed the heat shield from the turbo, there are no exterior oil supply lines to it, the turbo is fed via internal oil ports in the mounting base.

I personally can't fathom an engine with no oil port that I could screw my test oil gauge into to check and verify oil pressure, but the folks at the local chrysler dealer as well as the local Mercedes dealer do not seem to know of one.

Oil loss is not an issue, due to ease of routing to the dash area, I am using an electric pressure gauge, Teleflex, from the marine catalog, with matching single helm sender.
