Which ever way you mount it the fan will pull air thru the radiator,the correct way will be more efficient. Mounting the fan backwards will NOT cause it to move air toward the radiator! regardless of popular opinion.Most often there is a curve to the blades,if so the concave side should be away from the radiator.
