As long as the UAW exists it's not a manufcturing stronghold. It's a millstone. Kill the UAW and there might be some point to trying to help the big 3. With the UAW stll around, forget it. They're done.

Our markets are already on their head. Times will likely get a lot worse before they get any better but trying to save obsolete failed cultures of inefficiency is not the way to go.
