Yes ..it is a know fact that anything that goes wrong with the car can be, and has been , caused by the infamous OVP..[ except for dirty windshield]..

Actually , the main reason for OVP rearing its head on these chassis is , unlike the earlier models that would work manually, is the HFM/SFI cars are FULL Electronic and all power has to go thru the OVP with no backup. So a poor connection or diode on an OVP on these late chassis is chaotic....
Ealier chassis will actually still run and start even if you pull the OVP, but these will do neither if you take the OVP out....

Plus , if you have one in the trunk, Murphy will take that into consideration and you will never have an OVP problem again simply b/c you are prepared, and almost hoping , for OVP mal-function....
