I have this exact car, what I used was a small crescent wrench on the tube nut itself. My line wrenches were to long to fit in place. Also the torx bolt can be removed with a standard 6-point 3/8" I believe. It is the same size as your valve cover bolts if you want use that to size reference.
You will also need to remove the rubber thing pictured to get the EGR tube out. Please note the little "tit" for lack of a better term that goes in to the plenum may break off. I suggest you buy a new one as yours will be very brittle. If part of it breaks off you need to open the butterfly put you hand in there palm facing up and use a small Phillips to push the piece through. Make SURE you catch the piece.

Now once you get the EGR tube out it will be nice and nasty like this:
To clean it I let mine soak in Seafoam Deep Creep over night (PB Blaster will work as well). Then I used a coat hook to clean it out.
