Emerydc8 - Thanks for the advice, I will look there. However, I did make sure my battery was disconnected before the starter replacement.

if my car does not have the easy base code reading..im assuing it needs ot be done that hard way..lol
But since I dont know either way, if its something I can do, can you please explain how I can check for codes ?
Or will i need to bring it to a dealer to read?
