There are 3 spring shims for the rear, IIRC 9mm, 14mm and 19.5mm. 19.5mm is around an inch (just under IIRC). My 240D sags a bit in the rear although its noticably less saggy with new shocks. After I replaced the passenger side the drivers side was noticably (an inch or two) lower. With both replaced the rear is even and higher than it was, I wish I'd measured before and after for comparison. Before doing the shocks I was planning on 19.5mm shims, now I'm thinking 14mm. I may still do the 19.5mm though considering the bags of sand I'll put in for the winter.

Actually I checked, its 9.5mm, 14mm and 19mm
