Which diff?

I've been reading up on the web about self locking diffs that were fitted as an option on 123s. My 300TD clunks in reverse and is a bit sloppy and needs replacement. Seen as I am building up a semi off road Diesel touring machine I wouldn't mind something self locking or limited slip in the back to go with higher springs.
Has anyone heard about or know of these diffs? There is nothing in my technical books and the tags on the body don't indicate what diff or axle is in the car.

I was thinking of getting a G wagon chassis and popping the S123 body on it for the ultimate off road experience but they are as rare as hens teeth in AUS.

Are there any aftermarket manufacturers like Eaton or other auto locker makers who make stuff for these models?
Could the diff be made or derived from Borg Warner? Like so many others they could be cross matched.
