No, you can't just swap wheels from one to the other . The important factor (other than offset for your specific vehicle, which I'm sure you've already checked) is the centerbore. When you say,"he is using the hubcentric and longer bolts" I an guessing that you mean he is using hubcentric rings (this is good) or spacers (this is bad, stay away from a setup that uses spacers). This means the centerbore of his wheel is BIGGER than it needs to be. He only needs a 57.0mm centerbore while you need a 66.6mm one. Simply check the centerbore and if it's bigger than 66.6 you may want to consider running rings too. I run Audi wheels on my Benz but I had to have the centerbores machined which is also an option for you if the bores on your friends wheels are too small. Other than that, it should be a strait swap.
