So when they get there, they direct the thugs to the back of the line. Words were exchanged of course. But as soon as the doors open, the thugs run to the front of the line, totally disregarding him and the RACs. No sooner than that happening, a few minutes afterwards, people are being trampled and there's a melee at the rear of the store for the $300 laptops. So my buddy and his partner get there and there's an older lady on the floor with a fat lip writhing in pain. Her daughter is freaking out. Turns out that there were only so many laptops and there were fights breaking out. The lady said (and confirmed by watching the store surveillance cam video) that she got one of those laptops, but some POS decked her. After that, she didnt remember much. What the vid did reveal though was once she get decked and lost grip of the laptop, about 4 - 5 people dove for the laptop, fighting for it like a fumble on a football field. No one except the daughter tried to help.

People are truly messed up.
They need to come up with a sort of raffle like setup, where the rights to buy the discounted, limited supply, item is calmly determined in a drawing about an hour after opening and the winner can pick it up later. This wild scrum business is whack.
