That would explain it. I thought it was more of an unwritten rule to keep your car nice, presentable and probably sterile too.

Those guys in the leather jackets parking their S600's on the side streets near the pachinko parlors had showroom clean cars...

Too bad they can't send any "beater" Skylines our way.
