on an engine rebuild not having been charged for an oil pump that can happen BUT regular serviceing and thet fact that parts do wear out its a ????? plus finding another mechanic in the area to go to court against another is well u get that -- i would if you have had good luck with the guy in the past have him find a used spindel and swap it out my guess its wrecked i have been doing this all my life and it would not surprise me to find it siezed to be the problem and every or every other , brake pad replacement have them re pack the bearings its another 50 bucks or so but this wont happen again - jz
