I must have said this a dozen times, but hear we go again.

In a no-start situation, the most basic thing to find out is if the fuel pump is running while you are cranking the starter. So someone needs to turn the key, and a helper needs to put their hand on the fuel pump to see if it runs.

Chances are good that the pump is not running and the fuel pump relay is the problem.

Your mechanic should know this.
